autumn's first must have

Denim Fleece Lined Gilet, £40, Topshop
I fell in love with this jacket as soon as I spotted it online. Perfect for all seasons (particularly autumn with it's summer midwash denim and winter sheepskin) it's made to last. It will carry you right through to spring. I'd love to get my hands on one! And students; don't forget you can get a 10% discount at Topshop (instore with any valid student card and online with your NUS card number.)

I adore these black riding boots, perfect for going out in British weather! They've combined my two of my fav boot attributes- laces and knee high. Unfortunately the knee high brings the price up, but these are a real investment piece. I bought the classic River Island workman boot in September last year, and they are still in great condition now - I still wear them a lot. Worth knowing you're getting a quality, long-lasting pair of boots. If you fancy a cheaper pair, these RI brogue boots are just the ticket, and will take you right through to spring. I've thrown in another few pairs, just because they're great! The best thing about these boots is they'd all look great with the gilet.

Well there's a lot of great stuff here in my first blog. I really do want that gilet! I'd love to wear it with this sweat top, the black knee highs, a little black jersey bodycon skirt, and black leggings... or maybe even some crazy tights.
